National Minimum Wage and Modern Award wages increase

On Friday, 19 June, the Fair Work Commission handed down its decision regarding an increase to the National Minimum Wage. The Commission has increased the minimum wage by 1.75 per cent.

The Fair Work Commission has varied modern award minimum wages, which will roll out over three different operative dates for different groups of modern awards. The three operative dates have been chosen based on the impacts of the pandemic on each sector.
